10th Sibers anniversary has taken place! It was a grand celebration when we went through one more team building organized in an unusual form of scout competitions. The celebration took 2 weekend days full of different contests, eating delicious plov and barbeque and, of course, watching our traditional corporate film, which this time included congratulations from our customers, whom we would like to thank here once more.

Sibers keeps close relations with our famous Novosibirsk State University and has participated in the Career Day aiming at hiring the most creative and enthusiastic IT graduates. Our sales managers presented the company, and Flash, Desktop, Unix and PHP teamleaders answered all the questions on our activities and internships. NSU graduates have always been the assets of our company.

Novosibirsk Center of New Medical Technologies cited Sibers as one of active philanthropists helping children who suffer from cerebral spastic infantile paralysis. We take care of a 5-year-old smart girl who couldn’t walk at all but now, after a course of treatment, which was paid by Sibers, has made good progress. Our employees donate on their own free will, and the company doubles the sum raised. Thus, we provide the girl with current treatment and guarantee it to continue without delays.

Long-term projects tend to become out of date due to the new technologies and practices emerging on the market. Our developers and QA-engineers gathered to discuss how to implement the new technologies into a project in the most efficient way and the role of planning, designing and documenting for work coordination between the developers and while communicating with the customer.

New year has begun with Sibers opening a new office in the center of Novosibirsk. January 9 was the first working day for a part of our team living in the city and moving to a more convenient location.

Sibers has been visited by our clients from 10 Vox (Florida,USA), with whom we are working on a social networking project. The guys got acquainted with the team and had a number of formal and informal meetings, we discussed the progress and some important points of the project live and verified our understanding of the goals. Their trip crowned with visiting a popular ski resort, where we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves skiing and snowboarding.
