Recently, Sibers signed an agreement with Novosibirsk State Technical University which allows NSTU students from several IT-related departments to work at Sibers during their university study.
Internship is the ideal compliment to an academic year, when students are given the opportunity to gain work experience while studying at a university.
Experience provides invaluable insight into the IT-industry. Sibers’ student-employees get a chance to learn which skills the market demands and are allowed to use their time at school towards obtaining those skills.
For Sibers, this agreement is a great opportunity to find talented students and to recruit them for continued employment after graduation. During work, they obtain practical programming experience, which many recent graduates lack. When students return to Sibers not as interns but as employees, they already understand how we work and require less time for introduction and training.
