Hero of the day — pilaf
Siberian summer is always a hot, but short one, so we try to enjoy every sunny day to the fullest, especially when autumn is already right behind the corner.
Last Saturday of the August Sibers team traditionally spends on the beach by Novosibirsk Reservoir, which locals proudly call Ob Sea. This year we got especially lucky with the weather so those of us who hadn’t managed to spend a lot of time outside this summer even got a bit of tan.
And as if the cheerful sunny day by the water wasn’t great enough, there also was the hero of the day — pilaf! Yup, nothing feels more like summertime for Sibers team than this glorious bright colored and spicy rice dish. Over the years we mastered the recipe and chopping skills, so in less than three hours pilaf is ready and waiting for dozens of hungry sibersers.
Happy sibersers queued for pilaf
After the meal traditional football match helped to burn off the excess calories (if you think you can stop after one portion of pilaf, you clearly have never tried ours).
Sibersers bring their families — the more the merrier!
Our last summer day among dear teammates and their families turned out to be absolutely marvelous. And even though it's a bit sad that summer is almost over, we're already looking forward to winter and all the fun sports activities it brings. Cause it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold outside as long as you have a great company with you. Which we definitely have!
